*Sihaser Belgut* Sihaser walked down the busy streets of Piffle World, thinking. He was quite certain that his father had long since stopped chasing him, but he didn't want to stop running. It had become a routine now; find a place to stay, make camp, leave a few weeks later. He didn't want to change that, as it seemed routine was how he lived his life now. Plus, he read that a sudden change could make people drop dead. Of course, it could have been because it was an article about old people, but still... He was sure it could happen. Sihaser laughed as he took out a cigarette and lit it. He was always coming up with the worst possible situations for his life. He never took time to think about the things that did matter. For example, Riser. His elder brother. That kid sacrificed his life to make sure Sihaser was okay. Sihaser should remember that, not some article about dying and old people. But, he wasn't exactly sure he wanted to remember.

Komaki grinned widely as she stepped out of the office building. Being a secretary was hard work - especially if there was about a hundred phone calls everyday to take care of. The black suit she wore wasn't very out of the ordinary on the street, but her long hair certainly was. A few people that passed by stopped and studied the beautiful girl, maybe for a second, sometimes longer. She sighed at this, gripped her bag tighter and hurried down the street. Eventually, she began to leave the business area and the streets became a little less busy. And then something - no - someone caught Komaki's eye. She wondered who he was and why he was standing there so aimlessly. People usually walked the streets to get somewhere. Now, Komaki was openly staring, not even hiding the direction of her gaze.

Sihaser caught sight of Komaki's stare, and grinned, stubbing his cigarette out and dropping it on the ground. "Why, hello!" he exclaimed, walking up beside her. "What's your name? I'm Sihaser. And, wow, may I say that I really like your hair?" He was speaking quickly, and had even taken her hand and was shaking it. Again, his outgoing nature had taken over. Without stopping the handshake, he asked, "Do you work? You seem only...what, fourteen? Thirteen, maybe. I've never worked. Mainly cause I'm still in school, and I see no reason to work." Then, he turned red. He was afraid he offended her in some way. Maybe she was a dropout. Oh, she'd be pissed off if she was. He quickly let go of her hand. "Sorry," he mumbled.

Komaki was a little shocked by Sihaser's sudden handshake and his outgoing nature, but she was perfectly fine with it, and a large smile occupied her features. When he let go, she was close to giggling but held herself together. "Thank you, many people have commented on my looks, it is rare that anyone would say they like my hair though." At this, she giggled a little. "I'm sixteen and I work for Piffle Princess. I graduated last year." She paused and then realised that she had not introduced herself, "I'm Komaki. Komaki Miyamoto. Nice to meet you, Sihaser."

Sihaser almost sighed with relief, but he managed to hold it back. He was quite happy that she had graduated early. Otherwise, they probably wouldn't have been able to be friends. And no one knew how much Sihaser needed friends in his life right now. "You're lucky you graduated early," he said, smirking. "I would give anything to get out of school right now." He failed to mention that he was the one who never studied or participated in his classes. Actually, most of the children were quite scared of him, though Sihaser didn't know why. He was friendly enough, other then the fact he challenged almost everyone he met to a sword fight. Which was weird that he hadn't yet challenged this girl to a fight. He'd have to do that soon.
"So, do you live around here?" Sihaser asked, his eyes boring into hers. "Because, I don't think I've seen you around any." Sihaser was always outside, and he knew almost everyone that walked his same course. Maybe he just never paid attention to this girl. He bit his lip, thinking. Or, maybe it was the fact she never looked at him before. usually, his loud voice was enough to get looks, and this was the only time she had ever glanced his way. Well, the only time that he knew of. Maybe there were other times, and this was the only time he looked back. Let's just go with the fact we never met, Sihaser told himself, angry for continuing his idiotic thinking.

Komaki's smile diminished a little when Sihaser mentioned the graduating thing. She hadn't really considered graduating early a good thing. She had always thought that it was best for her mother though. She shrugged that away and moved on to answer his questions. Komaki gestured in the general direction of where she lived, "It's a large mansion, on the outskirts of the city, maybe that's why you haven't seen me around. And the way I go home is pretty random. Sometimes I get a ride, sometimes I don't." Memories of the dark night swooped down on her but she quickly recovered her original composture.

Sihaser's eyes widened. "Wow, a mansion!" he exclaimed. "You're so lucky! Can I see your mansion? Man, you must have a lot of money to be living in something so...so...giant!" Sihaser closed his eyes, grinning now. "I live in a very small house. I probably should fix it up, soon, since I'm good at fixing things." He ran his fingers through his hair, a habit he needed to stop. It usually got on everyone's nerves. "Hey, do you want to be my friend?" he suddenly asked. "I love hanging around people, and I don't have too many friends. I mean, I don't really know why. I think I'm friendly enough. Maybe I'm too friendly. There is such a thing of being too friendly, right? Or, maybe I'm just annoying." He laughed. "Or, maybe I'm both annoying and too friendly. I've known people like that."

Komaki giggled a little. This Sihaser was pretty interesting. She hadn't met many people so energetic and friendly. And she agreed with him a little, he was a little over the top. But what did it matter? He seemed like a nice enough person. "Sure, you can come over. And I inherited it from my mother." She pointedly ignored his second half of speech but anyone could tell that she was amused.

Sihaser frowned. "You...inherited it?" he asked, his voice actually low for once. He looked a bit sad, but then cheered up. "She must have bee very rich," he commented, choosing his words carefully. "My mother could...well, we were never rich." He gave a small smile, then fell silent as he walked down the road with her, his tan, rough hands behind his back. He looked at all the buildings, enjoying the soft breeze of the afternoon. He caught sight of a few children, not much older then himself, practicing in racers. "I've always wanted to do that," Sihaser muttered, though he meant to stay silent. --- Oh, it's horrible, so sorry!

Komaki gave a weak smile. "In a way, yes she was rich. But no, she wasn't as well. Most of the money was my father's. We had to survive on that for a while." She then caught onto Sihaser's next words. "Racers...I remember a dragonfly my father once had..." It was information that she hadn't intended to expose, but he seemed like a nice enough person, and they were friends, no?

Sihaser smiled. "My family had an old one," he said. "My brother used to fly it around all the time, my father cheering him on. I was never allowed, though. But..." He shrugged. "I dunno, I guess it's just some silly dream I have." He gave Komaki a sideways glance. "So, your father was the rich one?" he asked. "Lucky you. My father...well, let's just say that he didn't like working for money." Sihaser blinked a couple of times, feeling he, too, had given away too much information. He preferred to hide his past underneath his bubbly personality.

Komaki laughed a little at Sihaser's story, deep down, she envied him a little. It seemed that he had a fun, free life despite any hardships he may have faced. She raised an eyebrow at Sihaser's extra titbit of information. "Hm. Some people are like that. My father is near the top of his company. He doesn't seem to know that I'm alive though." She laughed at this, however cruel it sounded. But it was true. Her father hadn't even been even slightly interested about how she was.

"Lucky you," Sihaser sighed. "It would be so much better if my father didn't know I was alive." He actually faked his death a couple of times, trying to get his father off of his trail, but it never worked. Sihaser narrowed his eyes, a smirk coming to his face. "I remember once when I poured gasoline all over my old house and burnt it, hoping my father would think I died in the fire." The smirk now turned into a grin. "No such thing happened. I guess he's much too smart for the likes of me."
And, as if to prove that, he tripped over a stray rock, and landed flat on his face. Instead of getting up like he normally would and brushing himself off, acting like it never happened, he laugh. "Oh, damn! Am I losing my skills at dodging rock?" He groaned, a smile still etched upon his lips, and managed to hop up, now brushing himself off. "Sorry 'bout that," he said to Komaki. "I'm not usually this clumsy. Must be something in the air."

Komaki made no comment over Sihaser's actions but stayed quiet. She jolted backwards when he fell over though and she couldn't help laughing a little. "Maybe. Be careful though!" She noted that they were nearing her home and the streets grew gradually more deserted. "Well, try not to be so clumsy indoors. There's a lot of priceless objects at my place gathering dust. " As she spoke, she looked up at the sky, it was getting darker, but it was still light.

Sihaser's eyebrows went up. "Priceless objects?" he repeated. "Do tell me, what sort of priceless objects would be at your home, gathering the dust?" Waiting to be picked up... Sihaser finished in his thoughts. He always stole, though he never admitted it (who would?). He wasn't so sure about stealing her things, though. Anyway, she just became her friend. It would be pretty sad for him to steal something right after he made her his friend. Still...the thought of very expensive objects at his fingertips made him quite happy he chose her as a friend. No! Mustn't think like that, Sihaser! You can work for money, like she does!
