Appearance Paragraph: Tearoff was born with his yellow eyes, which mark his sign as a demon. When he was five, he began to develop an odd habit of placing two dots under his left eye, usually using women makeup. He called it his 'Demon Symbol'. Anytime he is feeling more murderous, he usually applies this symbol. Other then the symbol, Tearoff has few differences of other men his age. He is rather tall, but greatly enjoys towering over people. He has never once cut his long, dirty-blond hair, and keeps it usually tied up, in some sort of ponytail. On his back lay two 'tattoos' of wings. At least, that's what it looks like. On closer inspection, however one can tell that it's his 'Demon Wings', folded right into his back. His clothing, which usually consists of a white shirt with a black or red jacket-type-thing, don't have any slits in them for his wings, as he figured out that his wings can just come right through his clothing, then go back in without messing it up. He carries a large hunting knife and ORION, his demon sword.
History...
History Paragraph: Tearoff was born on a dark and stormy night, to a very young woman, in the Hanshin Republic. This young woman was nobility, and many were surprised to find that the father of the child was a plain commoner from Griu. Nonetheless, he cared for his son, and his wife, earning enough money to keep the two alive after her family disowned her. He built a house, small and cozy, and the family could want nothing more then to always stay together.
As Tearoff grew three, he found demon wings coming from his back. Surprised, he asked his father about it, who was even more surprised. Tearoff learned that his father's father was a pure-blood demon, and the trait must have been passed down to the young boy. When his mother learned of this, she was horrified. She hated demons and refused to let her son be a demon. She tried cutting off his wings with a knife, but her husband stopped her. Tearoff sat there, crying, not wanting his mother to cut his wings, but too respectful and loving to say no. So, the parents lived with their son's 'unfortunate traits', though they never did look at him the same way again.
When he was six, his mother began schooling him, and Tearoff picked it up all quickly. He gobbled up his books like a hungry animal, and would sit for almost the entire day, just reading. His mother was overjoyed to see her son doing something un-demon-like, and continued buying more and more books for him.
At the age of eight, Tearoff learned he had powers other then his demon wings. He was able to change himself into anything he wanted, with a pearl he found in his father's room. Anytime he held the pearl, he felt electricity running through him. He didn't know what the 'electricity' was, but continued to change, sometimes tricking his parents, which got them all laughing. A few months later, he figured out he could also create illusions, without the help of the pearl. He had fun creating new settings for himself when he was bored, and his parents were proud of him for not using his powers for harm.
When he was fifteen, he met a beautiful girl while out on an errand. Mary Jane was her name. She had black hair and beautiful green eyes, and the best smile Tearoff had ever seen. He helped bring her baskets of fruits and vegetables to her house, and her parents invited him in for dinner. He forgot all about his own parents and how they were waiting on the meat he was supposed to bring, and accepted the offer.
When he did arrive home, his parents were upset, but happy for him, since he found such a great girl. He met with her the next day and the next, and soon, they were a couple. One day, he took her out for a walk in the woods, but someone attacked the two. Tearoff, in protection for his girlfriend, killed the man. Mary Jane was shaken to learn that he was a demon, but she whispered that she still loved him when he took her home. He also confided in his parents about the bloody mess in the woods.
They viewed him differently then, as he could tell. When the Demon Hunters went around on their daily check, his parents managed to make him meet one. Tearoff didn't know the man's occupation, until his parents told the man that their son was a demon. Tearoff barely escaped, holding a scar across his arm to prove his parent's betrayal. He went to Mary Jane's house, and lived with them, and her parents didn't seem to care he was a demon.
When he was seventeen, he asked Mary Jane's hand in marriage. She said yes, and the two were wedded in a beautiful chapel, seeing as Mary Jane was also nobility. His parents never showed, but, then again, Tearoff never invited them.
A year later, they had their first child. Tearoff proudly named him Kilic, and loved him with all of his might. He, Mary Jane, and Kilic lived in a rather large house, happily, and Tearoff never wanted anything more. When Kilic was older, the three would take walks and just listen to the birds. Mary Jane could name every bird and every call it made. Tearoff learned to do the same.
When Tearoff was twenty-two, Mary Jane was twenty, and Kilic was four, he went out one day, promising to bring home some apples from his errands to let Mary Jane and Kilic bake and apple pie. When he came home, he found his wife, laying in a pool of blood. She was barely alive. Crying, he began talking to her, comforting her. She told him the man had long hair, but that's all she remembered. Her last words were telling Tearoff how much she loved him. Tearoff knew the same man had taken Kilic, for his son was gone, as well.
From then on, he abandoned everything in his past, other then Mary Jane and Kilic. He held onto a rather large hunting knife, and his sword, ORION, which was forged by his grandfather, and the sword he found hidden under his father's bed. Now, he's been going from place to place, desperately clinging on to the hope that his son will be found; other then revenge, Kilic is the only thing Tearoff can live for.
